Heiva I Kaua`i

The vibrant rhythms of Tahitian dance, FireKnife and drumming return to Kauai as Heiva I Kauai celebrates its 23rd anniversary on August 2 and 3, 2025, from 9am to 5pm at Kapa’a Beach Park (4-1464 Kuhio Highway). This community-sponsored, family-centered event continues its tradition of honoring Tahitian heritage, welcoming participants from Hawai`i, the Continent, and across the Pacific to showcase their talent, skill, and cultural knowledge in an electrifying competition and exhibition.
Heiva I Kaua`i is ADA accessible, and organizers encourage persons in need of auxiliary assistance to contact them at least 7 days before the event. Admission is $8 at the door. FireKnife admission is $5 at the door, children age 12 and under admitted free.
This cultural festival is made possible with generous support from the County of Kauai, Hawaii Tourism Authority, and the Kapa’a business community.
