HI93 welcomes Meilin Vitale-Vae to the ohana! Meilin was born in Honolulu and raised in Ewa Beach. She started her radio career in 2005 with overnight shifts and weekends on 98.5 and now, she shines brightly and spreads positivity on the weekends on HI93.
With the guidance from her mother and the love for Polynesian culture and music from her father, 19-year old Meilin opened a small business, “Missing Polynesia” in 2001, showcasing her creativity at craft fairs, swap meets, pop-up shops and festivals. Gradually building a loyal following, in 2010, she opened her own store in Pearl City!
In addition to being a successful fashion designer, she is also a licensed REALTOR®, a wife and mother, and weekend Pickleball player. Meilin’s favorite artists include Sammy J, Fiji, J Boog, Common Kings, Ekolu, Josh Tatofi, Kapena and aarahdna. Her superpowers are pulling out what you can’t see, speaking life and edifying with aloha, and of course, designing.
